Spiritual Checkmate

As long as our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is deeply and firmly rooted on the ground then no amount of temptation can keep us away from the love of God.Determination and will power will not suffice to resist the devil.

But God's grace is more than enough to aid us in our spiritual battles. That is why the Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." James 4:6-8
